What kind of beer is served at Oktoberfest?

Specially-brewed Oktoberfest beer in Bavaria, Germany, 5% ABV. It is brewed by Bavaria Festbeer Brewery and transported in a gigantic tank. We have Craft beer a lager style and we have the festbeer a bit darker beer.

Are there other types of drinks besides beer?

Yes! There is cider, wine and soft drinks. Underberg and German schnaps.

Food

What kind of food is served at Oktoberfest?

Traditional Oktoberfest delicacies such as Brezel (twisted-knot bread), Bratwurst (German specialty sausage), Schnitzel (deep-fried breaded pork cutlet).

Is vegetarian food available?

Yes, it is. Please ask our hostesses for more information. You can change your bratwurst to vegetarian at the bratwurst shop.

What are the opening hours?

Friday 17-23, Saturday afternoon 11-16:30 and Saturday evening 17:30-23:00

Tickets bought are valid for the full session it is for.

What happens at the event?

German music, dancing on the benches, singing along with thousands of revelers and of course wonderful German beer and food! A day to relax and be together with friends.

What is the age limit for Oktoberfest?

18 and above. Due to alcohol served

Are children and dogs not welcome?

Children are unfortunately not allowed due to the alcohol license.

Also dogs not, as we think its to lound and busy for them.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, customers’ own food and drinks can not be brought to the Oktoberfest – you will be searched at entrance. However, you can order from the table if you booked tickets or buy at the bar.

Is there an ATM at Oktoberfest?

Unfortunately not. But you can pay by card. We accept all major cards except for American Express.

Is there a cloakroom at Oktoberfest?

Yes, there is a cloakroom at the reception. We charge a fee of £5 per item. We dont accept laptops and electronic items. Also we take no reponsibility especially if you dont pick up your item before the events closes/ends.

Can the event be sold out?

Yes, it can so we advise you to book tickets or show up really early on the day to guarantee entry. All ticket holders have a seat.

Gift Shop

Can I rent Lederhosen and Dirndl at the event?

Yes, you can rent at the rate of £30/costume. This is at the souvenier shop. I works like you pay the hire price and a deposit to the total equals the buy price, if you later leave the item you get the deposit back if you want to keep it – its paid.

Can I buy souvenir Oktoberfest glasses?

Yes, at the gift shop we sell alot of different Oktoberfest souveniers. Also glasses to take home.

What can I buy from the gift shop?

We have great range of merchandise from clothing (dirndl, lederhosen, socks, hat, etc.) to decorations (wigs, mustache etc.) and souvenirs (glass, display truck)

Can I buy tickets at door?

Yes, you can (subject to availability). Most of the days there is full so maybe better book online, but its not a must.

How do I pay for my tickets?

You can easy pay with your credit card we take all card except AMEX.

How does it work after I buy tickets online?

An e-ticket will be sent to you shortly by email. You will have to present the ticket at the event either print it out or show it on your phone to scan the icon – so very easy. If you are more people you get more tickts and if you dont arrive at the same time just give everybody a copy of their ticket to be scanned at the door.

What do I do if I want to add more people to my tickets?

Just book some more tickets under the same name and our system will automatically allocate your seats together. Alternative send us an email with the different booking ID´s if people have booked separately. Remeber to have the same kind of tickets in case not you will all be seated in the cheapest tickets area, but you of course get the full included in the tickets you bought.

What do I do if I want to sit with my friends who have different tickets?

Contact us via email. Depending – In general will you not be seated together in higher cathegory than the lowest ticket kind so either you upgade your ticket (with no admin cost only the price difference) or your friends go down to your area and use the full tickets they have there.

Can the event be sold out?
