How do I access the new DLC in Blasphemous? ›

The DLC cannot be accessed if players do not begin it before fighting Esdras on the bridge. He is a critical part of the quest, and if he dies, the canon ending and new bosses will be unavailable. Before approaching the bridge, the Penitent One must first find a new area, the Resting Place of the Sister.

Ending C was introduced as part of the Wounds of Eventide DLC released in 2021. It centres around Esdras and Perpetva, and can only be unlocked if you find Perpetva's grave before fighting Esdras at the Bridge of Three Calvaries.

To do this, you will need to select Pilgrimage from the main menu as usual, then go to the save file with the completed game. Then choose "Ascend" to turn it into a True Torment run. You'll be able to access the first part of the DLC once you've defeated Warden of the Silent Sorrow and reached The Holy Line.

In order to access the DLC, you must visit Echoes of Salt and find Perpetva's shrine before you fight Esdras, of the Anointed Legion. You'll now see an option appear to 'Ascend' your save file. This will change your saved game to a True Torment run. This means you'll start the game from the very beginning, but you'll retain all of your equipment and the upgrades you've unlocked for Mea Culpa. You won't have any Quest Items when you start NG+.

It is unfortunate, then, that Blasphemous had only a handful of bosses on release. Luckily, all three DLCs address this issue in prudent ways.

Anyways, it seems Eventide added new items, character npcs, bosses, and stages and scattered them through out the base game. Its all mixed together and not one whole pack you can easily access. Also you don't need NG+. Also it's very late game stuff even if you can access it early.

The update mainly added bosses and a quest, that leads to the true ending of the game.

Blasphemous: Wounds of Eventide introduces the giant snake boss Sierpes, whose fight leans more heavily towards the style of Dark Souls than other bosses in the game. Sierpes can be found on the far top left of one of the DLC's new areas, Mourning and Havoc.

Go straight across using the Blood Perpetuated in Sand to enter the second part of Echoes of Salt. With this equipped, you can climb up and slide through, then continue over to the right. You'll come to a room with two broken ladders going up. Use these to climb up to the Prie Dieu and save.

Once the DLC has been installed, players should launch the game and click on “Add-Ons” from the left-side of the main menu. This action will lead fans to a new menu where they will find the Pagan: Control DLC, and they should select it and click on “Single Player” to get started.

To play the DLC Chapters, you'll need to first play through to Chapter 5. This will open up the Outrealm Gate, which is located to the south. From there, just go to Purchase Maps, download a map, and then go to Play a Map.
