Wuthering Waves has an assortment of fantastic characters available right away, but more are set to be added in the future. We know Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao are becoming playable in update 1.2, but before then we will be treated to the release of Changli. Here you will find the Wuthering Waves Changli banner release date and time countdown along with her skills and the accompanying 4 stars characters.

Fans of WuWa have a lot to look forward to very soon. Update 1.2 is scheduled to launch in August, and huge leaks have fans praising Kuro for listening to the community. Away from 1.2, a massive announcement suggests a PlayStation release is finally happening, meanwhile, another leak suggests a big upgrade is on the way that Genshin Impact fans have wanted for years.

WuWa only came out less than two months ago, but it has already achieved a “major milestone” that makes it one of the biggest gacha games right now beside Genshin. Update 1.2 should be fantastic, but, before then, we will be treated to the release of the highly-popular Changli in Wuthering Waves.

The release date for the Changli banner in Wuthering Waves is July 22nd. The banner will last until August 14th, which should bring forth the launch of update 1.2 the day after.

In addition to the release of Changli, there will be the launch of the Blazing Brilliance weapon banner. This will include the following 4-star weapons as revealed in the 1.1 banner schedule:

• Comet Flare (rectifier)
• Overture (sword)
• Undying Flame (gun)

When does Changli come out in Wuthering Waves

The release time for when Changli will come out in Wuthering Waves is 8AM PT/11AM ET on July 22nd, and 10AM BST on July 22nd.

Kuro has confirmed that she is set to launch on July 22nd at 10AM sever time (UTC+8). As you’d expect, Changli is a 5-star, and she is a Fusion Resonator that uses a sword as her melee weapon. In story, she is the mentor toJinhsi, who fans believe is by far the “best written character” in the game so far.

Changli has received some buffs before her release, and below is her list of skills in Wuthering Waves via IGN:

Basic Attack: Blazing Enlightenment

• Basic Attack:
  • Performs up to 4 consecutive attacks, dealing Fusion DMG. After releasing Basic Attack 4, enter True Sight, lasting for 12 seconds.
• Heavy Attack:
  • Hold Basic Attack on the ground to perform an upward strike at the cost of Stamina, dealing Fusion DMG. Use Basic Attack within a certain time to release Mid-Air Attack 3.
• Mid-Air Attack:
  • Consume Stamina to perform up to 4 consecutive attacks in mid-air, dealing Fusion DMG. After releasing Mid-Air Attack 4, enter True Sight, lasting for 12 seconds.
• Mid-Air Heavy Attack:
  • Shortly after holding Basic Attack in mid-air or using Basic Attack True Sight: Charge, use Basic Attack to perform a plunging attack at the cost of Stamina, dealing Fusion DMG. Use Basic Attack within a certain time to release Basic Attack 3.
• Dodge Counter:
  • Use Basic Attack after a successful Dodge to attack the target, dealing Fusion DMG.
• Resonance Skill: Tripartite Flame

Resonance Skill: Tripartite Flame

• True Sight: Capture:
  • After releasing Resonance Skill, Changli dashes towards the enemy and enters True Sight, lasting for 12 seconds. In the end, she releases a plunging attack, dealing fusion DMG. True Sight: Capture has two initial attempts and can be used up to two times. The number of attempts is increased by 1 every 12 seconds. Can be cast in mid-air.

• Basic Attack: True Sight – Conquest:
  • When in True Sight, if Changli uses Ground Basic Attack, she releases True Sight: Conquest, dashing towards the enemy and dealing Fusion DMG, considered as Resonance Skill DMG. After releasing True Sight: Conquest, True Sight ends.

• Basic Attack: True Sight – Charge:
  • When in True Sight, if Changli jumps or uses Basic Attack in mid-air, she releases True Sight: Charge, dashing towards the enemy and dealing Fusion DMG, considered as Resonance Skill DMG. After releasing True Sight: Charge, True Sight ends.

Forte Circuit: Flaming Sacrifice

• Heavy Attack: Flaming Sacrifice:
  • When releasing Heavy Attack, if Changli carries 4 stacks of Enflamement, she consumes all stacks of Enflamement to cast Flaming Sacrifice, dealing Fusion DMG as Resonance Skill DMG. While casting Flaming Sacrifice, Changli takes 40% less DMG.
• Enflamement:
  • Changli can hold up to 4 stacks of Enflamement.
    • Changli obtains 1 stack of Enflamement for every Basic Attack: True Sight – Conquest on hit.
    • Changli obtains 1 stack of Enflamement for every Basic Attack: True Sight – Charge on hit.
    • Changli obtains 4 stacks of Enflamement for every Resonance Liberation: Radiance of Fealty.

Resonance Liberation: Radiance of Fealty

• Fiery Feather:
  • When Changli releases Heavy attack Flaming Sacrifice within 10 seconds, her ATK is increased by 25%, after which Fiery Feather ends.

Intro Skill: Obedience of Rules

• Changli appears in mid-air, attacks the target, and enters True Sight, lasting for 12 seconds.

Outro Skill: Strategy of Duality

• The incoming Resonator has their Fusion DMG amplified by 20% and Resonance Liberation DMG amplified by 25% for 10 seconds or until the Resonator is switched out.

WuWa 4 stars characters

Below are the 4 stars characters that will accompany the Changli banner when it launches in WuWa:

• Baizhi (Glacio)
• Mortefi (Fusion)
• Taoqi (Havoc)

Again, it will only last until August 14th, so you will need to pull Changli before then if you want her as a playable 5 stars character in WuWa.
