Where should your art supplies be placed? ›
The most common method of storing art materials is to place them in bins or containers. Having specific bins or containers for different materials can be helpful, but they can also be cumbersome. Using cubbies can help you organize your supplies and keep a consistent look.
How do artists transport large paintings? ›
There are only two ways to carry paintings, on edge or lying flat, and most often with larger paintings, unless you have a fairly tall van type vehicle, paintings are going to have to be stacked. Thus, the key to avoiding damage is creating a suspension effect.
Colored pencils are allowed in carry-on bags for drawing. Have a great flight!
