McDonald’s is officially hopping into Easter, with the launch of three brand new eggsellent Easter themed treats.
Featuring classic Easter flavours, McDonald’s is launching a Hot Cross Bun Pie, Hot Cross Bun Latte, and a ridiculously cute Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry, which will be available in McDonalds stores nationwide in the UK and Ireland from 13 March 2024.
And as if the news couldn’t get even better, there are some returning favourites that Maccies fans will be absolutely pumped about…
New McDonald's 2024 menu items
One of the new menu launches is the Hot Cross Bun Pie bringing the classic warming cinnamon and spice flavours of a hot cross bun and putting it into a beloved Maccies pie. The pie is made from a cinnamon pastry and inside there’s a spiced fruit mix and butter-flavour cream filling. Um, yum.
If you prefer your hot cross bun in liquid form (yep we’re making that a thing) McDonald’s is launching a Hot Cross Bun Latte which features a smooth latte blended together with a sweet and spiced Hot Cross Bun flavour syrup, that’s then topped with cinnamon cream and a Hot Cross Bun flavour dusting.
And then for the McFlurry fans, the third new item for the McDonald’s Easter menu is the adorable Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry. This features the classic McFlurry ice cream mixed with pieces of Galaxy Truffle, the cutest Galaxy bunny ears & white and dark chocolate drops, and finished with Galaxy Chocolate sauce. It also comes in a mini size too.
Set to make a comeback as part of the Easter 2024 menu is the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry. Would it be a Maccies Easter without it? The McFlurry features ice cream combined with Cadbury chocolate pieces and the Creme Egg sauce.
Also returning for a limited time is the McCrispy Deluxe which has a chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating topped with a hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion compote, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions, a slice of cheddar cheese and a sourdough style bun. It’s here for a good time, not a long time, so be quick if you want to get your hands on it.
And finally, also returning are the halloumi fries, which come with a deliciously tangy tomato sauce.
Well, this has certainly put a spring in our step.
