Guest and Patient Services
Guest and Patient Services representatives are available to help make each patient’s hospital stay and each guest’s visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
We have representatives conveniently located in both of our hospitals and in our outpatient clinics around campus.

Arranging personal medical services, such as escort or wheelchair

Comments and Concerns
While we hope every patient’s visit goes smoothly, it is important that we are notified of patient concerns so we can take the appropriate steps to address them.
A patient has the right to communicate a verbal or written complaint or concern regarding any aspect of his/her visit (e.g., medical care, service, conditions, billing) and expect a timely response. If you have comments, questions, or concerns, we recommend that you or your representative:
Discuss them with your immediate caregiver
Speak to the manager of the clinic or service in which you are receiving care
If you believe your questions or concerns have not been adequately addressed, you may request a review by contacting the Patient Assistance Office by phone at 214-648-0500, by email at patientassistanceoffice@utsouthwestern.edu, or in writing addressed to:

Our pharmacy team offers expertise, convenience, and a personal touch that you won’t find at other pharmacies. We’re focused on fulfilling your retail or specialty medication needs safely and quickly.

UT Southwestern's William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital is the No.1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth for the eighth consecutive year, according to the annual Best Hospitals rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
Parkland Hospital and its staff of UT Southwestern Medical Center surgeons have long been at the forefront of trauma care both nationally and internationally. Parkland became the first verified level I trauma center in Texas in 1987.
The hospital is also known for its specialty medicine clinics for epilepsy treatment, arrhythmia management, and diagnostic cardiology, among others. Its emergency room is one of the busiest in the country. Parkland is UT Southwestern's primary teaching facility.
Complete your primary application to the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service. The deadline to submit your primary application is November 1. You may submit your secondary application after we receive your primary application from TMDSAS.
