What is the NYS health Commerce System? ›

Health Commerce System (HCS) is a secure online communications system operated by the NYS Department of Health. It supports the exchange of routine and emergency statewide health information by local health departments and health facilities, providers, and practitioners.

How will you access NYSIIS? Users access NYSIIS through the NYSDOH Health Commerce System (HCS). All NYSIIS users are required to have an individual HCS user account. Medical professionals can apply online at https:// hcsteamwork1.health.state.ny.us/pub/top.html at any time.

School nurses may access NYSIIS to look up immunization records for students once they complete the training webinar. Schools and daycares will have read-only access to NYSIIS for printing immunization reports for students. Schools are permitted read-only access to NYSIIS and/or the CIR.

Mail or fax a completed Immunization Record Request Application with a copy of your valid photo ID. Requests take about 1 to 2 weeks to process. You can download the application online or request a paper copy. Call 311 or 212-NEW-YORK (212-639-9675) to request a copy.
