Key art, also known as key visual, is the artwork which is repeated across media such as posters, print, television and digital advertisem*nts, streaming or download thumbnails, and game or film DVD/Blu-Ray box covers.

At the very basic level, logos are symbols made up of text and images that help us identify brands we like. But they can be so much more! A good logo is the cornerstone of your brand.

It's okay for logos or brand icons to be visible in your artwork, so long as they're incidental and not a main focus. Examples of this might be: Fashion logo visible on a t-shirt someone's wearing. Company logo on buildings in the background of the release artwork.
