We love a childhood haircut, and we love look-a-like family members. Thankfully, Jennifer Garner just blessed us with both to celebrate the ultimate joy of National Siblings Day. The actress posted a series of childhood snaps with her two sisters Melissa Garner Wylie and Susannah Kay Garner Carpenter, and the haircuts are simply iconic.
Their childhood in 1970s Charleston, West Virginia, looks totally idyllic, but beyond the tube socks and the ditsy florals, it's the kitchen haircuts that are bringing the era to life. It's one thing having matching dresses with your sister, but these matching bowl cuts take it to the next level.
It's hard to tell the three sisters apart because they look so alike, but Jennifer is the middle sister and swiping through the carousel she can be seen rocking the most consistent mushroom bowl haircut, occasionally matched by one or both of her siblings. There is a break in the bowl for an adorable pair of bunches tied by what looks to be chunky yellow yarn.
Throughout their childhood it appears not one of them went without a thick full fringe in their shiny brown tresses, only further accentuating the resemblance.
The sisters have remained close in adulthood and it seems they are still in sync when it comes to their hairdos. Here they are with matching lobs back in 2018 when Jennifer was accepting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You may be an A-list actress but to your siblings, you'll always be the same nose-picking frenemy.
