How to Draw a Great Looking Easy Mother's Day Card for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the easy Mother's Day card outline by drawing three hearts. Each should be a different size.
The smaller hearts should overlap the sides of the larger heart. These hearts will become the blossoms of the cartoon flowers.

2. Draw two more hearts, partially hidden behind the existing hearts. Then, draw smaller heart shapes inside two of the larger hearts.

3. Decorate one of the hearts with polka dots by drawing small circles inside it. Band the outer edge of one of the double hearts with curved lines.
Below the cloud of hearts, draw a rounded trapezoid. This will become the ribbon that holds the heart flowers together.

4. Draw irregular heart shapes on each side of the ribbon. These are the lobes of the bow. Then, draw pairs of narrowly spaced curved lines from the hearts to the ribbon. These are the stems of the flowers.

5. Enclose triangular shapes alongside the stems using curved lines that meet at sharp points. These are the flowers' leaves.
Then, begin extending the stems below the ribbon, using pairs of curved lines that are connected at the bottom.

6. Finish drawing the stems. Then, begin sketching the butterflies. For each, use four connected curved lines. These outline the butterfly's four wings.

7. Draw another butterfly outline, again using four curved lines. Then, draw many small hearts floating in the air around the flowers.
