FINAL 2023 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (2024)

What can we say that hasn’t already been said? The 2023 season started with incredibly high expectations but injuries would lower those expectations as the series pushed forward. And as the series came to a wrap, multiple championship contenders in all classes would be carried off the course. But despite the multiple crashes, we cannot deny that some of the races this season have been EPIC. Close battles with multiple winners across the series would results in us itching for the gate drop each weekend. While it may have ended the way many weren’t expecting, there’s still some positive notes that we took from 2023. Three riders would break an incredible loss hiatus as Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, and Chase Sexton would sweep the championship for Honda.

So scroll down below to check out the where everyone finished at the end of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season.

450 CLASS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 17 OF 17)

FINAL 2023 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (1)Despite what the keyboard warriors on social media may tell you, Chase Sexton earned the 2023 450 championship title. The ability to put himself in the position of earning the title was nothing short of a challenge as the Honda rider faced multiple crashes throughout the series, but got up each time to salvage his points. With multiple wins in the season and being the fastest qualifier nearly every weekend, there was no doubt that Chase is made of championship material. While we would have LOVED to see Eli Tomac and Chase duke it out at the final round, we have to come to terms with Chase securing the title fair and square.

It would have been even more epic to see the three championship contenders, Cooper Webb included, to battle at the final round but that’s just how the cookie crumbles. Now that first and second were claimed in the championship it was all up to one spot. One rider, Ken Roczen, had to get two points to pass Cooper Webb’s position. But as the Main Event commenced, Ken dabbed his foot in a corner hyper extending his knee in the process. This would result in a DNF and leave Cooper Webb’s position in the championship intact.

250 WEST CLASS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 9 OF 9)

FINAL 2023 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (2)The same can be said for both 250 classes when it comes to the Lawrence bros. Nearly perfect rides each weekend would lend itself to having the championship served on a silver platter. These guys put in the work when it comes to racing and where it mattered most, staying on two wheels. While it’s safe to say that the probability of both winning the championships with full two full rosters is high, we can’t gloss over the fact that most of the competition wadded every other weekend. Jett Lawrence would secure his title early and this would be the last time we see him on a 250. The only battle left would be between second and third place.

After the final Main Event of the season, Rj Hampshire would finish in second in the points but Enzo Lopes would lose his third place position to Levi Kitchen.

250 EAST CLASS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 10 OF 10)

FINAL 2023 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS (3)Hunter Lawrence is in the same boat as Jett Lawrence. Exceptional rides each weekend would pay off handsomly as the Honda rider would clinch his title a race early. While he won the title, the battle for second and third was heating up between Max Anstie and Haiden Deegan. But as the Main Event came to a close, a pass by Hunter Lawrence on Max Anstie would bump his fellow Honda rider down in the points by just a single digit, allowing Haiden Deegan to secure second in the championship.
