I was wondering if there are any ID checks at Oktoberfest?
I have been traveling around Europe and had my bag stolen, my drivers license and passport were unfortunately in. I have recently replaced my passport but I do not want to risk taking it for the trouble it will cause me if the worst happens.

Hi Monica,
I never had my ID card checked when entering Oktoberfest tents, but this doesn't mean it can't happen.
On Oktoberfest itself you probably won't need it, but if you want to continue celebrating in one of the night clubs, they regularly check it (especially if you look young).
It's understandable that you don't want to take your passport, but maybe you have some other kind of ID with your photo and birth date? A student card, an ID from your employer, or something similar?
You should at least carry a copy of your passport with you, in case you get into some kind of emergency situation.
