Tips and strategies for finding peace and acceptance when nothing is as it seems
“Are you afraid of what you do?” a friend asked me while we chatted on Zoom.
I am a spiritual person who does a lot of deep spiritual work and sometimes run into certain dangers on the spiritual path. I encounter things that are unsettling and make encounters with spirits that are deceiving. I intercede for those in bondage and seem to be constantly fighting demons. That’s what I do.
“I’m terrified of what I’m called to do,” I answered my friend. “I fear the dangers that lurk on the path. The illusions are trippy you can easily fall for them and the distractions never look like distractions until you’ve wasted years of your life. The spiritual attacks are exhausting. The opposition is a constant struggle and life sometimes feels like one warfare after the other. I fear the spiritual path and that’s why I walk with God.”
A spiritual awakening opens your eyes to see what you couldn’t see before, and what you see when you can see clearly is sometimes very fearful.
