"It's packed with prebiotic fibers, such as inulin and fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which act as food for the beneficial bacteria in your gut," Hartnett continues. "These fibers are not digested by the body but rather pass through to the colon where they are fermented by gut bacteria, promoting their growth and diversity."
